_Italian food and our traditional fooD_

The most traditional food in Italy is pasta....
Pasta is the main food of the day...At lunch they always eat pasta in many ways...
There are pasta with cream and ham, pasta with eggs and bacon, pasta with tomatoes, pasta with vegetables, but we hate this.
These are some types of pasta:

One of the mosf famous Italian Desserts is the TIRAMISU
Another typical Italian Dessert, is the Sicilian Cassata
there are a lot of other Desserts, like Cannoli (from Sicily), Babà( from Naples) and so on which are all delicious and you should try them once in your life...!!!

In our traditional food, there are the famous..

-> "Pa amb tomata" (bread with tomato).

-> "canelons" (cannelloni)

-> "calçots" a young onion wich we make with a grilled and then you eat them with a special sauce,..

_CarnivaL_

Here we have celebrated carnival this weekend, from the 1st to the 4th of February, but other cities are celebreted the next weekend like Castelló d'Empúries.
We didn't go because it was raining but other years we went there in the "Roses carnival".
We didn't disguise but we think that to participate in the carnival is very funny.
Here there is a big tradition and a lot of people are disguise, travel by decorated cars, they decorate them as castles, formula one cars,... and then a lot of pipol go to the disco.
In the world there are lot of cities which celebrate the carnival. The most important are: Rio de Janeiro, Venecia, Cadiz, Roses, Tenerife...
We think the carnival is very funny if you participate but just seeing it, it is boring.
In our classe some people desguised as Fiona, cheer leaders, Mafalada,..
